South Korea
I came to South Korea (Seoul) in July 2016 for my summer exchange program at Hanyang University. Throughout the journey, I learned many things about South Korea, from its history to its culture and language! Indeed, this overseas learning experience has molded me into a much more mature person than before, both intellectually and emotionally.
As part of the grading requirements for 'ISS1060 Photo and Video Journalism', one of the modules that I took at Hanyang University, I have documented my experiences in South Korea, both work-related and play-related.
Take a look through my photo albums and explore South Korea together with me! :)
PS: This page on South Korea was my actual submission for the final assignment of the module 'ISS1060 Photo and Video Journalism'. It constituted a whopping 40% of my final grade and along with the website, I had to give a presentation as well to explain my experiences in South Korea (around 40%). The remaining 20% of the final score was derived from daily assignments.
Update: I eventually scored an A+ for this module due to the great portrayal of South Korean culture through my essays, photos, videos, and presentation. Thank you, Professor Joonhee Park (from Wheaton College USA), for the kind compliments, and for sharing your wisdom as a military intelligence officer during our field trips in South Korea!
