The land of the rising sun - Japan. I came to this magnificent country in July 2015 as part of my good friend's ORD trip. I have always been interested in Japanese culture, particularly its food and anime. Being able to visit this country was indeed a privilege, as I had to save up and budget beforehand. If I remember correctly, I had spent around S$850 to S$900~ for the entire 6d5n trip (including round-trip airfare, accommodation, and personal expenses). Despite the tight budget, I could still enjoy a wide variety of delectable food and had lots of fun exploring Japan! We visited four regions in Japan - Osaka, Nara, Kobe, and Kyoto.

PS: This certainly won't be my only trip to Japan! I look forward to exploring more of her beauty in the future! When Tokyo hosts the Olympics in 2020, I hope I will be able to visit Japan once again :)! But till then, I need to earn more money first D:
