In 2017, I went to Bintan (Indonesia). It was an excellent place for a staycation. She had beautiful beaches and gorgeous sunsets, and the atmosphere was relaxing. There wasn't much to do on the island during my stay there since I went during the monsoon season. Unfortunately, activities like snorkeling and kayaking couldn't be done for safety reasons. Nonetheless, if you are looking for a great place to chill and unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city, Bintan sure is an excellent destination for you to go!

In 2019 & 2023, I returned to Indonesia, but this time to Batam! Similar to Bintan, Batam was also an excellent place for a staycation. The hotels were affordable, and I enjoyed delicious Indonesian cuisine at an affordable rate. My spent time there was mostly relaxing in the hotel and utilizing its amenities. Overall, it was a great staycation and a relaxing holiday in Batam!
